I really want my game to run smoother but i only have my folder separated by date and i would love to take out all the cc i don't use or don't have the mesh for but i dont have the slightest idea how. Any advice would help at this point!

personally i have my cc sorted by type and creator. So there are folders for hair, makeup, tops, bottoms, furniture, build mode, etc. I also have for creators,  Ebonix, xmiramira, blewis50, bls, sheplayswithlifeee, etc... that makes fining things easier for me.
the next thin i use is tray importer... and  how I use it is for bad CAS cc (0r those with missing meshes, etc) i create a sim and remove everything from them and only "dress them with cc items... but they stay in the "bad" cc... it it works, go to the next. then save the sim.
Once saved u can go to the tray importer and right click on the cc  that is "missing and either find the mesh or delete it from ur game. this has proven to be the easiest way to get rid of CC.
Mod conflict detector works of the cc is broken (bad coding, etc) but that only works on CC not on script mods, AND does not account for missing meshes.

hope that helps...  :) :) :)
Happy Simming,

Tray Importer helps a lot with sorting specific files you can't find!
