I haven't played The Sims since '06-'07 and have no clue about using custom content. I've seen a few tutorials but I'm still a little lost... any tips or tricks?

I guess the "shopping" process... like which sites are better ones to download from and can you only download certain things like outfits for example one by one, or can you download a collection at once?

Downloading is pretty easy. I know Modthesims website has a great tutorial on how to download and install cc. As for where to get CC, I like to look on Tumblr or watch simmers CC shopping on youtube.
