I have not been able to play my game at all since this last update. YES,i don't have a firewall on and I Have done everything to try and fix it. I even removed my mods and it still wont move past start up window

Did u try removing your sims 4 folder and then starting the game so it creates a new sims 4 folder...after the folder is recreated you can put your mods, saves, tray, etc. back into new sims 4 folder and try to load the game. Because sometimes the sims 4 folder can become corrupted itself!
