This happened to me too after going on a cc download spree. I'm almost certain you downloaded a bad cc, now if you can remember what was that you downloaded remove it & im sure your game will work again. I suggest re adding your latest downloads one by one till you see which is the broken/bad one. In my case a sims 3 cc had slipped and that was causing the problem.

This happened to me also. What I did was go to my most recent downloads and take them out and put them back in by 3 or 4. Then eventually I found the problem. Hopefully that helps. ;D

Thats happened to me a couple of times with my MacBook. Sometimes removing the last mods before the game started freezing then slowly adding the back can help. For me I start the game up after adding two or three mod files at a time to see which file is keeping the game from working.

I hope this helps!

Yeah that happened to me before. Checking for mods or cc that you recently downloaded might have conflicted with your game. If you downloaded a lot like what happened with me it could take a while. But you could download the Mod Conflict Detector and it should help you find that broken mod or bad cc.
