First thing I'd do, is create a new folder in your mods folder and create a broken cc folder on your desktop. Move all of your recently added cc into the broken cc folder. Test the game. If the game opens up, then you know for sure it is a cc issue (which it most likely is). Test out miniature groups of your cc- moving 10 or so items (or however many, especially if you did a lot of cc shopping) from your broken cc to the new folder. Keep going until you isolate the package. The mod conflict detector doesn't always work for me. Hell, it didn't work for me just yesterday when I downloaded a faulty thesimsresource object set yesterday. Good luck.

Oh, in that case, try restarting your computer. If he shut your game off, he may have done so improperly which could still have parts of the game running in the background. And one time, I clicked on the game and got a little impatient and clicked on it again, so it was trying to load twice, and I got a "You're not connected to origin" error message and it wouldn't load. I don't know if it'll be the same issue, but it's worth a shot. But yeah, outside of that, the first thing I would do is just remove all cc and see if the game actually comes up.

Repair your game that might help. If that doesnt u might have to remove all the most recent cc youve downloaded
