Bad cc? Or just a overlay and makeup not working together

Lol, see this is why i asked what graphics you play on in a previous thread. I think it is safe to assume you play on a lower graphic setting than I do at least, and I play the game on ultra basically so this problem hasn't happened to me unless I used this oily skin mod I downloaded which looked terrible in game regardless of the settings I play on. Anyways, you just need to turn up your graphics if your computer can handle it, either that or you meed to figure out which cc is causing this glossy effect and remove it because if you do not turn up your graphics, the glitch will persist.

I have this problem too, and I play with all the graphics settings set to the highest... It's pretty common with MacBook pros. I haven't had the issue after switching to a newer pro, though, but I also had to wipe all of my cc so it could've been related to that too? But definitely try changing your graphics settings if they are low and your processor can handle it!

So I was having this problem until I changed my lighting settings to low. Hope this helps you.

This is definitely an issue on Macbooks. I played solely on a Macbook with all kinds of setting - nothing worked for me after a while. I eventually transferred all of my CC over onto an Intel Core i7. I haven't seen greasy sims since.

Not only on Macbooks, I got HP and my sims recently started to shine and this happened when I put new cc on my game so I think some of the contest is causing it

Yeah it's an issue for Mac users and there isn't really a way around it. It's unfortunate considering the costs of Macs yet they aren't all that good for gaming.

There's a strong possibility that the CC creator had too much specularity on a material upon exporting a mesh, and that there's a bug with the way TS handles it. If someone could post a picture, and maybe even some suspect CC, i would take a look at it. I've already seen an EA post that says this is a CC issue, so they won't fix it.

I fixed mine by changing the lighting settings to low.
