pets broke a lot of cc. either update your cc or fix it through sims studio. Xmiramira and Xureila both did tutorials  on their channel.

if you updated today the new update made some of the cc furniture unusable. so your best bet is to either wait for the new batch fix for sims 4 studio or wait until the creator updates those items.

This happened to me and they all showed up after leaving the lot and coming back, so maybe try that.

You need to run the Sims 4 Studio Batch fixes but you may as well wait for the next release hopefully today or tomorrow since yesterdays patch broke surfaces.  You can download it here:

http://sims4studio.com
You have to create an account to download it but it's free.

The batch fix needs to be run every time you d/l new furniture.  To make it easier unzip the CC into a separate folder and batch fix just that folder then copy the CC to your mods folder after applying the fix.  The batch fix is not a patch for the game.  It just fixes the CC that you have installed at that moment.  If your game doesn't load its probably because you downloaded some Sims 3 CC by mistake or you have an outdated mod installed.  Run the Mod Conflict Detector and delete any Sims 3 CC you may have installed.  Also remove all your mods and update if available.    I find the easiest way is to just Google search the mod name.  Before installing mods back in test the game without mods to see if it loads.  If it still doesn't load try clearing your cache and repairing the game.  If that doesn't work try a clean documents folder.  Move your Sims 4 folder from your documents to a place outside of the Electronic arts Directory.  Run the game and let it recreate new files in the documents folder.  After that you can move your Saves, screenshots, custom music, recorded videos, and tray folders back into the new directory.  Test the game again.  Then after that Move the mods directory back in the new folder.
