HELP ME! / damaged game??

So while i was trying to download cc, i went to the link to download all of  blvcksimz cc, and i had recently read on here that downloading folders w cc online can damage you game.. is that true ?? because my game has been acting up in cas and gallery and i still havent been able to play and it's been super difficult to try and find the one cc that is damaging my game.

Ive been spending so long making these sims and now everyime i try to save the household it never stops loading. so pretty much it just wont save. and then when i come back to the game to check on my households , it keeps loading as well and never loads. Also half of the pics for the cc content don't even show up in CAS. Anyone have a solution? i did the folder mod checks and i think it might be something that is an accessory/skin/makeup related. sfkdjfa all im tryna do is play this damn game especially since i just bought Get Famous yesterday

thank you, i figured thats what happened :/. I checked on the files using mod conflict detector and almost all of them were now faulty mods

I messed up and accidentally deleted my whole mods folder then it ended up permanently deleting the whole folder. so now it’s not in the recycle bin Then I recovered the files for paying for a program to recover them but i added them back into the game and now the game won't even open.. lmfao i f***** up. anyone know any solutions?
Does anyone mind sharing their mods folder  :-[

I have tried taking out the columns mod, but that didn't work. As long as you have that mod updated, you can keep it in your game. But if you got custom traits, remove those.
